Andrea Tagliapietra nasce a Venezia nel 1976 e attualmente vive e lavora a Burano. Si forma presso la Scuola Internazionale di Grafica a Venezia e frequenta lo Studio 13 sotto la guida di Silvestro Lodi. Ha realizzato mostre collettive e personali in Italia e all’estero e si è distinto in alcuni importanti concorsi. La sua ricerca spazia, fin dagli esordi, dalla pittura alla scultura interagendo, attualmente, con performance e video arte. Il topos delle sue opere è legato al senso di inappartenenza che frequentemente contraddistingue l’essere umano. Le sue opere sono presenti in molte collezioni pubbliche e private, nazionali ed estere.

Andrea Tagliapietra was born in Venice in 1976 and currently lives and works in Burano. He trained at the International School of Graphics in Venice and attended Studio 13 under the guidance of Silvestro Lodi. He has made collective and personal exhibitions in Italy and abroad and has distinguished himself in some important competitions. His research ranges, from the beginning, from painting to sculpture, currently interacting with performance and video art. The topos of his works is linked to the sense of belonging that frequently distinguishes the human being. His works are present in many collections public and private, national and foreign.
